I started my journey in photography in the early 60’s. While stationed in Germany, under the guidance of a local photographer, I worked in black and white learning image composition and processing techniques. After leaving the service I was sidetracked by a 30-year career with the Federal Government. my interest in creative photography reemerged as a retirement hobby.
With today’s digital cameras and related technology I can again exercise creative control which I enjoyed in the 60’s.
My background as an Industrial Engineer focuses on process and end product. I attempt to capture the crispness of the items I see in the real world or the scenes that could be. I tweak colors and image content to achieve what should be.
